Sound Sessions – A Sound Approach
Introduction to Planetary Light principles of Sound
This interdisciplinary set of sessions explores how sound affects the human body, from biological and neurological responses to emotional, spiritual, and therapeutic effects. Drawing from acoustics, neuroscience, psychology, and alternative medicine, readers will have an opportunity to investigate how sound can influence physiological processes, mental states, and healing practices. The following sessions combine theory, research, and hands-on experience with sound-based techniques.
All objects have a note (sound), each note signifies the object’s vibration and color (light).
Each session allows the reader to explore one or more of the following concepts:
- Understanding the physical properties of sound and their interaction with the human body.
- Analyze how the auditory system perceives and processes sound.
- Evaluate the physiological and psychological effects of sound and music.
- Explore sound-based therapies and their applications in expanded states of consciousness, health, and wellness.
- Design experiments or interventions involving sound and the body.
